I am a very devoted owner of my 6 month old rather nervous tabby kitten Alfie. Chantal was brilliant with him. She even hand fed him for the first few days as he settled in. Chantal played with him and sat with him regularly. She gave him different toys to keep him amused. Chantal goes that extra mile to keep her feline charges happy. She emaiIed me and let me know how he was getting on. I have booked Alfie in for our next holiday. I will recommend the Cat’s Whiskers to all my cat owner friends. This is a totally brilliant cattery. Our cats have been going to Chantal since they were kittens. She has immensely high standards, the cattery is immaculate and the cats are always in great shape when they come home. When we collect them, it’s noticeable how well they interact with her – a sign of how much effort she puts into looking after them. Everything is very open. You see exactly where your cats are being kept and I particularly value how much time she spends playing with them and keeping them active. She gives them individual toys and is good at working out what games they like. This time, our male cat was enchanted by a huge paper bag he could climb into. It worked for him! Chantal is also assiduous in sending a thoughtful – and much appreciated – email telling us how they have settled in. It’s entertaining to read and – given how hard she works in summer particularly – underlines how thorough she is in every aspect of running this cattery. Once I get it, I find it I am much reassured for the rest of our time away. I would absolutely recommend the Cat’s Whiskers. It’s a really class act. Provided by James and Jackie Cox

Chantal is very dedicated to the animals she looks after, you feel totally comfortable leaving your pets in her capable and caring hands. I get quite stressed before dropping my cats off, usually because they make such a noise in the car on the way over, however as soon as I arrive Chantal puts me at ease. Her gardens are so peaceful and quiet, it’s like walking into a lovely oasis, the whole experience makes me feel really calm. I come away happy that I can enjoy my holiday and that they will be very well cared for. Provided by Jo Thomson
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for looking after Charlie so well whilst we were away. I almost think she didn’t want to come home! It took her about 24 hours to really settle back into being her normal self. But she’s back to her normal playful, purring self which is great, following us around everywhere in case we go near food haha.
So thanks again for making her stay in your “hotel” so fabulous. We will definitely be in contact for next time we go away!

Excellent cat boarding experience with Chantal. Boarded for 2 weeks and impressed from the passion and knowledge of the owner of the cattery. One of our cats fur has significantly improved in terms of texture and softness after collecting them. Thanks to the improved diet provided to the cats. Chantal has also recommended us suitable wet food for the cats and kindly offered us an old scratch post which I then upcycled it with new robes and that the cats are loving it! Chantal has also dropped me an aftercare message which I found it’s very personable of her! I definitely will continue board with The Cat’s Whiskers Boarding Cattery and recommend it to others! Binks came in the flat with her tail straight and had a good sniff at everything when we got home and a little sip of water, then settled on the bed with me for a nap. She seems absolutely fine – very cuddly and lots of purring.

Just wanted to let you know how Zachary has settled back in. He has been extremely affectionate since he has been home, always coming for cuddles and purring non stop! Seems to be a lot more trusting in us which is lovely.
Thanks again for looking after him whilst we were away. We’re pleased we’ve found somewhere where he will be looked after and we won’t need to worry.

I have used the Cats Whiskers Cattery consistently for the last 6 years, some years my cat Lucy almost lived there! She always came home very happy and relaxed, never complained or grumpy which for me is a sign of a cat who has had plenty of attention and feels at home when she is in the cattery.
Chantal is a fastidious cattery owner which I really appreciate when my cat is staying somewhere and I am away, I know I don’t have to worry for a minute whether my cat is being fed properly and having the level of attention she is used to, including individual lap time in her run!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chantal’s cattery to any cat owner – in fact I am struggling to find such a good one in NZ. Lucy stayed at the Cats Whiskers’ for 4 weeks before flying to NZ and I knew I could trust Chantal completely to ensure all was in order and that Lucy would be settled in transit and at such a stressful time, no request was too much trouble.”

We are very grateful to Chantal at The Cats Whiskers cattery. The last time we boarded our cat there, we explained to Chantal that we were very worried about Calvin as he had lost a lot of weight, was constantly hungry and very aggressive. We had taken him to the vets and had every test possible, all tests were clear and they had no advice as to what we were to do. When we collected him from the cattery after his stay we were thrilled to see a much healthier looking Calvin and very contented. Chantal had changed his diet to a good quality cat food 100% meat or fish plus biscuits. We had been feeding him Whiskers before, no one had suggested before that it might be his diet. We are very grateful to Chantal our Calvin looks almost kitten like again (12years old). We would highly recommend The Cats Whiskers as an excellent cattery. Having never used a cattery before, I felt a little nervous about leaving our kitten while we went on a one-week holiday. All fears disappeared as soon as Chantal showed me around The Cat’s Whiskers. It was exceptionally clean and tidy with everything a cat could need to enjoy a comfortable stay away from home. Chantal is passionate about cats and has a thorough understanding of their needs. This is by far the best cattery in the whole of west London. I have viewed many catteries and boarded my own cats at a few, but I have been using this cattery for a number of years now and will not consider placing my cats anywhere else. The cattery is bright, clean and fresh with warm pens with heated indoor sleeping areas and, additional outer areas with various shelves for cats to sleep or climb to view the wonderful peaceful garden. Each pen has a scratching post and mats provided.The owner, Chantal, is a wonderful fountain of knowledge in all things cat related and takes great care interacting with the cats in her care. If, like me, you want to leave your pride and joy in the care and hands of someone who doesn’t just ” take care” of your cat but someone who understands them and learns their little ways and gives them the love and attention they crave to make them feel at home. Then this is the place !!! We have boarded our Bob here twice now and on pick up, he is chilled, groomed, healthy and happy. There is a little part of you that will make you think …. ” hang on, he doesn’t actually want to leave ” 🙂 lol But that’s a good thing and testament to the level of care Chantal provides.

We had to take our cat Heathcliff in for a week, as we were moving abroad. I was very nervous at first, as he is a very shy and anxious rescue cat, but I was immediately impressed with the facilities and Chantal’s competent presence and attitude. I was then let down by the pet couriers and had to extend his stay for another week, which thankfully Chantal was able to accommodate. I was reassured that he was in good hands, as Chantal sent me regular updates and looked after him while he had an upset tummy. I would highly recommend and definitely use again if required. Hi Chantal
Just a quick note to let you know that Lilly has settled back home very quickly. As you can see from the photo she is happily asleep on my lap purring away.
She meowed all the way home so I think she was upset at leaving you and her new kitty friends. But once home quickly settled.
